All Hallow’s Read (Day 4) A scary book for…

…someone who supports indie horror!

Jason Darrick’s Fear In Words: The Stories is a very short, visceral, and well written collection of stories that shows off Darrick’s innate talent, and gives readers faith in independent horror. Darrick also released Fear In Words: The Poems, for free at Smashwords and other online retailers, with both collections chronicling Darrick’s first year of writing full-time.

Miranda Doerfler’s From Blood & Brain took Colum by surprise when he read it. ” I really don’t tend to like indie books, but found Doerfler to be someone who shows vast amounts of promise. Her writing is tight, her stories are fast paced, and her ideas are fun.” At the low price you can snag this baby, you really can’t go wrong!

All Hallow’s Read is a book-giving tradition thought up by author Neil Gaiman. We’ll be making book suggestions all month long in case you need ideas!
